The Inter-cultural Language School (ICLS) has a rich history of over 24 years in Malaysia. Founded in 1990, ICLS was introduced as a Japanese school before diversifying into other languages, namely English, Mandarin, French, Korean, Bahasa Malaysia, Italian, Spanish and German.
According to Mukoda Atsushi, Damansara UPtown branch manager, ICLS has reached out to both students and the working crowd, be it for self improvements or job requirements. To date, ICLS has more than 400 students and 13 teachers in their Damansara UPtown branch alone.
Although Malaysia is a multi-lingual country, the staggering numbers of enrollments are evident that a new language expands one’s horizons – providing a glimpse of cultures outside our home country.
