Hailed from Gifu, Japan; Akiko Nishio set foot in Malaysia in the year 2004. Armed with a professional teaching license in Japanese language, Nishio founded the first A to Z Language Centre in Damansara UPtown – which according to her, is the perfect central location for Japanese residents in Mont Kiara and corporate expatriates in Shah Alam.

At A to Z, Nishio imparts her burning passion and knowledge to her students, as well as shares the Japanese culture with them. To Nishio, language builds friendships.

A decade later, A to Z now caters to more than 150 students and has a reputation for providing a conducive learning environment with credible Japanese teachers. She also holds corporate classes for working adults.
